Although I had been sharing my wife with men we met on the internet for a few years, it still took a friend of ours (one of the guys we met on the internet) 2 years to convince us to go to a Swinger's Club. And on our first night there, we encountered what everyone fears most - we ran into a coworker. Of course you might think he was there looking for the same thing we were, but it was a little different. He's into BDSM & we aren't. Still he was discreet (as he wanted us to be too) and we have formed a special bond at work as we are all into the lifestyle in one form or another. Our experience in Swinger's Clubs have been great. We find it is much like the attitude of the 60s - Live and Let Live. We may not all be looking for the exact same thing - but that's okay - no judgements on each other's particular kinks. We've been going to Swinger's Clubs for about 6 years now and our only regret is we didn't start sooner. At the clubs we've been to, we've never felt pressured to participate in anything we weren't comfortable with. At our favourite club (Sweet Cheeks in Toronto) some people go looking to interatct with other singles or couples and some people go just to have a night out of drinking and dancing by themselves in a party atmosphere that has a more sexual edge than just a regular bar.
