wondering how we are doing??

Its been a few months since we got this website back online and changed the format. Im wondering how are we doing?

Do you like the new format?

Do you like that we have very few rules?

Should we add any rules?

How do you like the small pctures of posters beside the message they post?

Do you get many emails from people when you post?

This website costs me alot and Im wondering if it is worth it. How can I get more people to donate (by buying a memebrship) so I can keep it going?

I think you are doing a great job...the site is growing everyday.

The new format is easy to use and to understand, altho ya might consider an edit profile button.

I like the fact that you have very few rules. The more rules you have, the more confusing things seem to get...You need rules for the rules and so forth...as people are always looking for loopholes.

The pics on the side usually don't load for me, but that's because of my firewall, but actually, the pages might load a little quicker if they were not there. Either way, it matters not to me.

We tend to get more emails from lurkers of the board rather than active posters...Everybody knows we are slow in email and have pretty much given up on us, I think, LOL...but we do answer them all, eventually*beg*

Now, as for getting people to buy a membership...I honestly think that is gonna be hard.
What most people buy a membership for, is to see the hardcore pics....since those are allowed...it only makes sense....why pay for it?
Being able to search the board and look at archived pics, (most of which they would have already seen), is not a whole lot of incentive to get off even $10. a month.
I have a membership, simply because I like it here and I want to help support it and keep it going.
The only suggestion I have in ways of getting more members is to stop allowing the hc pics on this side and offer it on a 'members' side.....but then again, that might just backfire. There really is no way to tell, unless people speak up and then stand by what they say.

There needs to be some kind of incentive for people to want a membership. It definitely can't be an upfront cost because no one will be here.

What sort of cost are we talking about? And what is in that mysterious members only area anyway?

Concerning whats on the member side..

If you join to find a whole lot of porn..dont. The main reason to become a member is to help me pay for the free side. You'd be surpirsed how much this board costs and I dont know how much longer I can afford it.

What members get:
1. We have a search function, including searching the board for everything posted from the last time you searched
2. You never miss a post, full access to the archives

Tyed thank you for your membership, we really appreciate it. Your suggestion about hardcore is appreciated but if we did that then we would have to have more rules (what you can post and where) and then it wouldn't be wifeposter.

well there is alot of free sites out there too...... so the back fire thing is most likely what would happen......

the little rules here is something hard to find and is great........

the only suggestion that I can come up with for you is maybe to try and connect this with a personals site or add those functions....searches bay area and things like that......as your pay area costs to contact others not to see or something along those lines

I've been thinking about your financial woes.

The reason I didn't take out a membership is very simple --- it's the automatic repeating nature of the monthly charge. I've been caught too many times in some site's computer where my card is just charged repeatedly long after I've quit, so I am simply not going to do that.

My suggestion is a yearly membership. A one time 365 day price that would bring those of us who love this place into the "club" so to speak. I don't know what you would consider a reasonable cost but I think it should be made to be a bargain compared to the monthly charge up on the board now -- an incentive.

Does anyone like naughty jokes and cartoons? I could happily supply those if you think this might round out what we have here. In fact I'm willing to do just about anything except offer my credit card on a repeating basis. Sorry admin.

Anyway, just my thoughts.

I just discovered this site. Like most, I will "tour" here for about 30 days before I decide whether or not to join. As mentioned above, I would join just to help you with the cost of operations, not necessarily for any "benefits" you offer.

A couple of comments:

1. The small picture of the posters to the left is distracting, redundant and in some cases repulsive. If anyone wants to see the poster's dick (because mostly men respond), they can go to the poster's profile or to the Guy's side.

2. Although nothing can really be done about it, there are certain posters who want to dominate a site. I find these obnoxious and a great turnoff. In fact, I already have two or three posters here that I avoid like the plague and will not even visit a post if I see their name listed as the last one who visited that particular post. Hint: Texas
