i had windows media player on my computer and it would not play alot of formats so i downloaded VLC ! My question is when i download a movie to watch it still trys to open in media player ! What do i need to do for it to open in VLC STEP by STEP i am computer stupid any help would be appreciated ! Thanks !

well somehow in your computer you need to make VLC your default player. I am sorry that I don't know how that is done. HOWEVER have you tried downloading the K lite codec package? Just google it it's free and it should convert most of the video/audio files your watching.
