Members and emails....like or dislike??

Hey I know this site shows your email address if you choose so on your profile page, so my question is does it bother you ladies to receive emails from the guys? Would you prefer a post on your thread first or just sent them direct, or not at all. Couples feel free to jump in on this one too.
